Identifying, securing and managing funding to support individuals, businesses and communities across the Yorkshire and Humber region
Calderdale College manages £50m Skills Enhancement Fund on behalf of Skills Funding Agency and Yorkshire Forward, providing partfunded training to employers across the region.
We are also responsible for managing the £55.7m Work Place Learning contract throughout the North of England and the Midlands as well as in Yorkshire and the Humber.

Over 6,000 employers across Yorkshire & Humber in skills training
Over 1,500 unemployed individuals in West Yorkshire to enhance their chances of moving into employment.
Over 100 individuals at risk of redundancy in West Yorkshire in skills training to improve job prospects
Over 85 young people (NEET) Not in Education Employment
or Training, tackling worklessness and disengagement.
Enhancing the learner experience of college learners through improved facilities and enrichment activities e.g. volunteering
* Note: If you have had a DDQ accepted after 1st April 2012 this will still be valid unless there have been significant changes within your organisation or training delivery procedures. Significant changes could include, for example, acceptance onto the Register of Training Organisations or use of associate trainers to complement existing staff. If your organisation has had significant changes you should submit a new DDQ.
