The LEP Skills Service
The Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership (LEP) has launched the skills service which provides skills support to small and medium sized businesses.
What support is available?
Businesses often find it difficult to find training courses that meet their needs and that give their employees the skills needed to grow the business, as well as take a longer-term approach to planning training. The LEP skills service can help with free skills planning support for your business.
The LEP skills service supports small and medium sized businesses to grow by:
- offering a free, comprehensive skills assessment
- supporting with longer–term skills planning
- sourcing the most appropriate training
- ensuring a business is well placed to apply for future skills funding
To discuss the skills planning support available, contact the skills service team on:

*The LEP skills service is delivered by a consortium, which is made up of Calderdale College, Leeds City College, West and North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce and Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce and Industry on behalf of the West Yorkshire Consortium of Colleges. It has been partly supported by HM Government with Employer Ownership funding.
