Inspire Award Winner 2013 - Pam Warhurst CBE
Pam Warhurst CBE, Incredible Edible Chair.
Pam is the founder of the voluntary gardening initiative, Incredible Edible, which started in Todmorden. The project aims to bring people together and through actions around local food, helps change behaviour toward the environment and build a kinder and more resilient world.
As well as Incredible Edible, Pam chairs the Royal Society of Arts & Manufacturing, as well as Pennine Prospects - a regeneration company for the South Pennines and is a director of Outta Place Ltd.
Pam previously served on the Board of Natural England, where she was the lead board member working on the Countryside & Rights of Way Bill. She has also been Deputy Chair and Acting Chair of the Countryside Agency, leader of Calderdale Council, a board member of Yorkshire Forward, and chair of the National Countryside Access Forum and Calderdale NHS Trust.
