Angela said: “Calderdale is my home and has been for over 28 years now. It means a lot to me because it’s recognising my contribution to Calderdale and the work I have done in Calderdale in the various different roles as a social worker, as a probation officer and in the voluntary community sector and more recently as a chief executive of the WomenCentre working for a quite a few years so I think it sort of makes me feel as if my time here has been important and valued in the Calderdale community.”
