How to Apply
Please follow these steps to make your application.
Once you have chosen the course you wish to study, you need to complete an International Application Form.
Receive an offer:
Send your completed application to email@example.com or to the address on the form. If you meet the requirements for entry to your chosen course we will contact you with an offer and with the details of the deposit required in order to secure your place.
If you decide to accept the offer we will need to receive the deposit before we can send you your official CAS number from the UK Border Agency of your official Acceptance letter.
Apply for visa:
The college will issue your Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) once your deposit has been received. This is the letter and unique reference number you need from the college when you apply for your student visa. Please visit www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/studyingintheuk/quickguideforstudent/ for information on the visa application process. Please note that you must have the finances to pay your first year’s tuition fees plus cover your living expenses (currently calculated at £5,400 for 1 academic year) when you apply for a student visa. We will also send you information on how to reserve your accommodation in Halifax.
Book your flight:
After you have received your visa – You will need to book your flight and confirm to us when you will arrive. You will need to let us know whether you will require us to help you to find a host family.
Arriving in the UK – We can provide a meet and greet service to international students for a small charge. Once you arrive you will be welcomed to Calderdale College by the International Office and/or your home stay family.
We will help you throughout the above procedure as much as possible but please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions you have.
