Yuliya Artymyak

Yuliya is 18 years old from Novosibirsk in Siberia, Russia and is studying on the University Foundation Programme in Business, IT and Economics.

Yuliya chose Calderdale College because, “It is one of the best Colleges. The teachers are amazingly intelligent and help students progress to University.”

Yuliya believes that one of the best things about Calderdale College is the IT facilities and she says that, “the lessons are often made more interesting with presentations and videos.”

Yuliya has many hobbies and interests, but her main interest is singing. She can’t live without music! She has many other interests and enjoys working with numbers. She will go on to study Accountancy at University.

Lisa is 21 years old from Fujian province, China and is studying on the English as a Foreign Language course.

“I chose Calderdale College because of its high educational standards and because it will help me to go to University. Halifax is a peaceful town and the teachers are very friendly.”

Her interests are IT and music.
