Excel Foundation Learning
Excel is a flexible learning programme available to young people between the ages of 16 and 18.
Excel offers a wide range of opportunities for young people to achieve first step qualifications to enable them to move onto an apprenticeship, employment or further study.
Foundation Learning is learner-focused and recognises that individuals are unique, learn at different paces and require different levels of support. It is flexible, allows different starting points and above all choice. It’s all about breaking down the barriers so that the young person can continue their learning journey.
Calderdale College is working in partnership with the following providers to ensure that the learner has access to the best training available:

- Project Challenge
These seven providers offer a wide variety of exciting and interesting courses.
