Tuesday 12th January Open Evening is postponed until Tuesday 23rd February 4-7pm.
Many of us make new years resolutions every January but don’t manage to keep the promises we have vowed to maintain. Well how about starting 2010 with the aim of achieving a qualification? Calderdale College is offering both full and part time courses at it’s campuses: Francis Street, Todmorden Community College, Brighouse Adult Education Centre, Field Lane School and North Halifax Skills Centre. There are a wide range of courses from nail technology to performance management and building craft occupations to stress management.
If you are interested in any of these courses or would like to find out what else we have to offer why not visit us Tuesday 12th January 4pm-7pm for our Open Evening. There will be live demonstrations in brickwork, painting and decorating, plastering and joinery. Other activities include student tours, open design studios, live music recordings, animal care health check ups and sport fitness tests. Tutors from all subject areas will be in attendance to answer any questions you may have as well as our advisors who are there if you have queries about funding, college life or support needs. We look forward to seeing you.
Welcome to all Calderdale College students; whether you are returning after the summer break or are just beginning your journey with us, we wish you a successful year ahead.
Local musicians will showcase their talent in a Battle of the Bands competition at The Old Cock, Halifax on Thursday 9th September from 7.
Still undecided about what to do in September?
Calderdale College offers a wide variety of courses in a range of subject areas from performing arts, business and childcare to hairdressing, construction and sport.
