This week marks the launch of an internet safety campaign across Europe. Schools, colleges and organisations throughout the continent are supporting the event with a range of activities designed to help protect young people online. Calderdale College dedicated a day on the theme of ‘Think Before You Post’:
The College joined forces with Trevor Harris and Deborah Scaife who were our guest speakers. They highlighted the importance of staying safe whilst surfing the internet. Leaflets were handed out to students with additional information on Moodle, and support from the Student Union.

Local musicians will showcase their talent in a Battle of the Bands competition at The Old Cock, Halifax on Thursday 9th September from 7.
