Calderdale College student Amanda Brooke has been awarded the IAB (International Association of Book-keepers) Top Student Award.
Amanda achieved the highest mark nationally for her Level 1 Certificate in Book-keeping and received a certificate and trophy, presented by Lynne Mackenzie, Chair of College Governors.
Since completing the course earlier this year, Amanda went on to complete a Level 1 Computerised Book-keeping course. Amanda, 48, said “I didn’t like school but have always enjoyed working with numbers. I have enjoyed returning to College and would like to build on the success I’ve had and progress to a higher level”.
