High standards Shine Through at North Halifax Skills Centre Hairdressing Competition
Calderdale College Level 2 Hair & Beauty Learners from NHSC went head to head at the annual Hair & Beauty Christmas Competition at Pennine Magpie in Halifax. Judges from Denis Williams, Hair Revive and Calderdale College were extremely impressed with the high standard of work produced and found it very difficult to choose a winner, but Level 2 Hairdressing student; Sue-Lann Stark stole the show with her winning look.
Victoria Finn, Hairdressing lecturer said: “I am very proud of the NHSC hair and beauty learners, they worked extremely hard both as a team and of their own initiative. The competition was a great success and the standard of work produced was extremely high for a level 2 group, the winning look was a level 3 standard.”
