Animal Farm - A play not to be missed!8th December 2014

Calderdale College Performing Arts students will be performing ‘Animal Farm’ by George Orwell, in a new adaptation by Ian Wooldridge at the Empty Space Theatre at Calderdale College, Francis Street, Halifax on Wednesday 10th and Thursday 11th December.
Animal Farm is a dystopian play based on the novel by George Orwell. The story is an allegory of the Russian revolution and reflects on the events that followed the revolution in 1917 and the origins of Joseph Stalin’s communist dictatorship of The Soviet Union.
Don’t miss this one act play performed by Performing Arts second year students which is interesting and quirky and promises a thought provoking evening of entertainment! Our students perform an array of plays and pantomimes throughout the year, so please check our events section for more details.
The evening performance starts at 7.00pm and will last approximately 1 hour 10 minutes.
