Calderdale College welcomes education chiefs from Cambodia29th March 2011
Education chiefs and Vice Chancellors of universities from Cambodia have visited Calderdale College to find out more about the opportunities available to international students in the UK and to strengthen existing links with the College.
The Cambodian Higher Education Association (CHEA) visited the College as part of a national tour of further and higher education institutions.
Janet McCann, Head of International said ‘We were delighted to be able to welcome the Cambodian delegation into the College and introduce them to our Principal, Vice Principal and other staff who work with our international students. We already have some excellent Cambodian students on our courses here and the delegation were able to speak to the students in person and get their impressions of studying with us ‘first hand’.
The President of the Higher Education Association also gave a very informative presentation to us about the education system in Cambodia and their future aims and objectives.
