Don't Miss the performance of 'Tomorrow I'll Be Happy'9th February 2014
'Tomorrow I’ll Be Happy' tells a story backwards. All of the characters are stuck. The town they live in is dying. Difference is unaccepted and the murder of a young gay character, Darren, casts a dark shadow over those involved.
Sometimes touching, sometimes brutal, the play by Jonathan Harvey, will be performed by Level 2 Performing Arts students in the Empty Space Theatre at the College. It aims to provoke, debate and raise questions about disaffected young people, prejudice and the pressure to conform.
Don’t miss this real and raw play which discusses love, loss and sexuality. It is suitable for individuals aged 16+ & entry is free.
Due to unforeseen circumstances 'Tomorrow I'll Be Happy' has had to be postponed until further notice.
If you would like to attend the performance please register your interest by emailing Shabanak@calderdale.ac.uk who will inform you of a new date once it has been confirmed. Please note times will be the same and will take place at 4pm & 7pm.
