We’ve been teaching vocational courses for over a century but whilst tradition is important it doesn’t get you a job, however it does mean that employers want to work with us because we understand their needs and how we can benefit them. That’s why over 300 current work with us and more are joining each week. Once you are with us our priority is your success. Which is why we are above the national average in the UK for many of our subjects including building & construction, child care, hair & beauty, health & social care & information technology. We are also in the top 20 in the UK for the support we give to students on our higher education courses.

The College’s Advice and Guidance team are available now to discuss the range of options available at Calderdale College. They are also available to discuss financial assistance which may be available towards the costs of travel, lunch and more. The College runs both a Guaranteed Bursary and Enhanced Learner Support Fund for 16-19 year olds and staff will be able to advice you about your suitability for the funding.
