Hairdressing Success29th November 2011
Calderdale College student Shannon Savile successfully competed in the National Hairdressing Federation’s Yorkshire region championship competition on Sunday 20th November.
Shannon had to compete against other students to produce hairstyles that most impressed the judges from the National Hairdressing Federation. She entered in two categories and came second in the Fashion Conscious Female event and also won a 2nd place in the Yorkshire Junior Champion category.
Shannon is a work based learning level 2 Hairdressing student who studies at Calderdale College and works at Organic Air, King Cross. She worked in her own time to compete in the championship and both her tutor Vicky Finn and her employer Emma Brooke were impressed by Shannon’s hard work in winning the awards.
