6th December 2012 Huddersfield Town FC Trained at Calderdale College

Championship League Football Club Huddersfield Town FC trained on our 3G Pitch today in preparation for their game against Bolton Wanderers FC on Saturday.

Simon Grayson, Huddersfield Town Manager said: “We are very grateful to the College for allowing us to use their 3G pitch today as our pitch was frozen. It is nice to have the opportunity to use the College facilities.

“We have had a good start to the year, so far we have played 20 games; some were good and some were bad, but we are enjoying the Championship League and are looking forward to the next 24 games, continued Simon.

When asked if he had any predictions for the forthcoming matches, Simon said: “There are no predictions, but we would like to stay in the championship for as long as possible.”

Craig Waterworth, Sports Development Officer at Calderdale College said: “It is fantastic having Huddersfield Town train at the College. Having a championship League Football Club use our facilities has had a positive impact on curriculum learners and commercial users; it shows that a local professional football team appreciates our state of the art facilities.”
