The One Festival is back and it’s bigger and better than ever! If you’re unfamiliar with this yearly event, it’s all about celebrating and embracing equality and diversity.
This year’s One Festival theme is about celebrating difference, because being different is what makes us all unique.
Join us in the Main College Reception on Wednesday 26th November 2014, from 9:30am – 2:30pm, for an action packed day.
What can you expect from this year’s festival?
At the One Festival you’ll find a variety of activities and entertainment to take part in throughout the day.
Express yourself! - This year you’ll find a graffiti wall where you’ll be able to express why you think you’re different.
Be part of the action - Both students and staff will have the opportunity to challenge themselves by taking part in two Paralympic sports. Are you up for the challenge? Then why not give wheelchair basketball and curling a go and find out what it really takes to be a Paralympic athlete.
There will also be:
- A wide range of external organisations (Lifeline, NHS, Police, White Ribbon Campaign)
- Musical performances from Music students
- Fun sports activities
- International cuisine cooked by our very ownProfessional Cookery students
- Interactive stall, advice & guidance,competitions and freebies
There will be so much going on you won’t want to miss it, so make sure you get involved!
