Paul has many years of experience in retail, with valuable knowledge and expertise that he has shared with the business students, giving them the advice and information they need to succeed and climb their way to the top.
Paul Craven said: “I would like to think that the students can understand that you can have a successful career in retail without any qualifications based on effort, attitude, commitment and application.”
Paul had 3 key messages for the students to take away from his presentation: “Work hard, set yourself goals and have the right work ethic when you are at work.”
Sidra Khalid, Business lecturer said: “The reason why I called Paul was because whenever I listen to the story of where he is now and where he was before I think it’s a great inspiration for my learners.”
Brandon Thickett, Level 2 Business student said: ”It was a good presentation and it shows that you don’t need a lot to gain a lot. He showed that you can do it as long as you put the effort in and hard work.”
