Ruddi is the youngest person in the UK to suffer from a rare soft tissue cancer on his prostate gland. He was discovered to have the disease when he was just seven months old and subsequently spent three months in hospital. Ruddi started his third bout of chemotherapy in May and the family are now waiting for the results of a scan which will show if doctors can operate to remove the tumour. "We will find out in two weeks. The signs are positive but it's a waiting game," said Craig. "Ruddi is a real character, he is hilarious. He smiles and laughs all the time." Pitstop in Elland is lending a minibus to be used as a support vehicle.
