Unique and beautiful gifts of paintings, jewellery, ceramics and textiles are for sale at a free exhibition in Calderdale College’s Creative and Conservation Skills Centre in Francis Street.

The exhibition of work by students of art, ceramics, photography and jewellery is on display from Friday 5 to Wednesday 17 December and includes pieces made by tutors at the College.

“We’ve got a fantastic range of paintings and prints from our degree students in Todmorden, along with some exquisite beaded bracelets, necklaces, earrings and brooches”, said Carol South, Programme Manager for Expressive Arts at Calderdale College. “Added to that are textiles that are complete one-offs, including scarves, pashminas, bags and throws. They would all make perfect presents”.
