Students Perform Cloud 9 & Vinegar Tom by Caryl Churchill

Calderdale College Performing Arts students will be performing two plays by British playwright Caryl Churchill at the Empty Space Theatre at Calderdale College. ‘Cloud 9’ will be performed on Tuesday 18th and Wednesday 19th June and 'Vinegar Tom' will be performed on Thursday 20th and Friday 21st June.

On Wednesday 5th June, Calderdale College joined the annual VQ Day celebrations by hosting a VQ Awards Ceremony at the Victoria Theatre in Halifax. The evening was compered by Performing Arts Lecturer Adam Smith and Student Union Representative & Level 3 Business student Amy Waite.

Former college student awarded an Association of Colleges Gold Award! Calderdale College celebrated yesterday as Hannah Cockroft MBE, double gold medallist in wheelchair sprinting in the London 2012 Paralympic Games and one of its former students, was awarded a prestigious Association of Colleges (AoC) Gold Award by Lord Willis of Knaresborough at the House of Commons.
