Prince’s Trust Provides a Clear Future

Last week, Calderdale College held a presentation evening for their Prince’s Trust Team Programme students to celebrate their successes which took place over a 12 week course. Kath Bradwell, Head of Learning Partnerships and Development at Calderdale College and Jeanette Foster from the Prince’s Trust presented the students with certificates to recognise their achievements and completion of their course.

Karting Fever Hits College

8th May 2013 Karting Fever Hits College

On Saturday 11th May, Go Karting returns to Francis Street PWC car park, for what will surely be an action packed event. Thrills and spills are guaranteed as Year 11 School learners from the Ryburn Construction Centre and learners based at the main campus at Calderdale College will put their Karts to the ultimate test, in a series of qualifying races leading to the grand final showdown.

Ain’t No Mountain High Enough

Duke of Edinburgh students at Calderdale College will be climbing the equivalent height of Mount Everest (8848 meters or 29,029 ft) on the College climbing wall in the Hannah Cockroft Sports Hall at the Inspire Centre on Wednesday 8th May between 8am - 4pm.
