Yorkshire Air Ambulance Speak to DofE Students

In June last year, Public Service and Animal Care learners completed a 23 mile course with a loaded stretcher from Horbury to Sowerby Bridge. The canal Trek, part of the Duke of Edinburgh Award helped raised £600 for the Yorkshire Ambulance Service.

Over 50 people from local businesses across Calderdale and the College attended the Social Media Breakfast Briefing to hear Rob Wilmot talk about the use of Social Media in a business environment which is the first of three Breakfast Briefings due to take place this year. The next Briefing will take place during the first week of June in conjunction with Vocational Qualifications (VQ) Week.
