Local Halifax based company Boss Training specialise in the delivery of work at height and safety training. In 2010 the College assisted Andrew Murphy (Director) in hiring two Apprentices to look after Business Administration and Customer Service. Vicki Louise Shaw (40) has been studying Level 2 Intensive Beauty Therapy at the College for a year and has high hopes for the future: “I hope to open my own mobile beauty business called ‘Perfection’ which will be based around Triangle and the surrounding areas. Last month, Music students from Calderdale College were allowed in to the home of Calrec Audio - leaders in the design and manufacturing of broadcast audio mixing consoles. Last week, Calderdale College celebrated the achievements of Health and Social Care students at the Health & Social Care Awards held in the Empty Space Theatre at the College.
