This year’s fresher’s fair was bigger and better than ever! Staged mostly in the College’s new Inspire Centre, eager learners were queuing way before the ten o’clock opening time; with community band Sambalifax kicking-off the event outside. Right from the off the sport’s hall, which was hosting the event for the very first time, was packed, as it was for almost the entirety of the four hours.

12th September 2011 ‘Wow factor’ college opens new buildings

CALDERDALE College’s multi-million pound extension opened its doors to students for the first time last week. The “Inspire Centre” is part of an £8 million redevelopment scheme which includes a new entrance to the main college building on Francis Street, Halifax, a new cafeteria, partial refurbishment and redecoration throughout.
