Format for overall events

Open Days and Evenings will take place at Calderdale College, Francis Street, Halifax.
Market place with subject area stands.
Registration will take place in the One Centre which will have a strong IAG presence as well as some subject area stands.
Enrichment display in One Centre.
LRC open for visitors.
Presentations will take place in the theatre and classrooms: Subject area presentations - A guide to qualifications, Funding your education.

Taster Days

Calderdale College taster programme offers young people the opportunity to sample vocational courses in various areas to help to make those difficult decisions about the next step in education/training. Calderdale College are offering the opportunity for you to take part in a practical activity in various areas to help you decide what you want to do upon leaving school. You will be given a tour and a chance to see the other excellent facilities at Calderdale College before taking part in a brief taster to give you a insight on the course of your choice.
