Course Overview

City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate. An evening course to help you train staff in AutoCAD

Individuals, Companies or organisations should benefit by being able to do more with current resources with trained AutoCad staff.

AutoCAD is used in many Design industries including mechanical and civil engineering, architecture and facilities planning and management.

Many employers are using AutoCAD than any other CAD system and hence there is a need for skilled workers who have expertise in using AutoCAD.

If you like to design engineering drawings, the AutoCAD City & Guilds certification is one career option for you.

As AutoCAD is one of the most popular software packages in this field, many opportunities are available all over the world.

Upon completion of this course, the student will learn to use AutoCAD and create accurate 2D drawings, setup drawings to dimensions, build a library of symbols that can be reused, develop template files with standard settings and coordinate reference drawings.

Entry Requirements & Interview Process

Applicants should be computer literate with good numerical skills and have an understanding of CAD (possibly gained through the Level 2 2D course).

Assessment Methods

Candidates are assessed through two practical assignments and an on-line multiple choice test.

Course Fees

£660 (FCR) The fee is for guidance only and will be confirmed at enrolment.

Full Recovery Cost courses do not attract any funding and therefore the full cost of the fees are payable by the student irrespective of their circumstances.
