T Level – Construction

Entry Requirements:
T Levels require you to have obtained a pass grade in GCSE English and Maths. If a student hasn’t acquired these, they may have the option to retake during their T Level course.

Course Info

During this 2-year programme, students will develop the core knowledge and skills that are needed for entry to a range of occupations in the construction sector.

This course is suitable for anyone wanting a career in construction, specifically in areas such as electric installation and maintenance, plumbing or heating. You will study:

  • The creative economy
  • Cultural context and vocabulary
  • Project methodology and administration
  • Audience and consumer needs

Teaching

Project based learning is used as the model for teaching, learning and assessment. You’ll spend 80% of your time in the classroom or workshop and 20% on a 45-day placement with an employer to give you the skills and knowledge companies look for.

  • UCAS Points: UCAS Points have been awarded for this qualification as follows: D* = 168, D = 144, M = 120, P (C+) = 96, P (D or E) = 72

  • 45-day Industry Placement.
