NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Understanding the Safe Handling of Medication
Entry Requirements: GCSE grade D in English or a Level 1 Functional/Key Skills English qualification
This qualification provides the knowledge and understanding of different types of medication and their use.
The procedures for obtaining, storing, administering and disposing of medication are also covered in this course. It will also help develop your knowledge of legislation and record keeping.
This course will interest you if you’re planning to work in a medical laboratory or pharmacy.
Teaching will include lectures, practical experience, external speakers and the support to attend a placement or working within a real working environment.
Entry Requirements & Interview Process
Learners must be 16 years and above, school leavers will need a GCSE grade D in English or a Level 1 Functional/Key Skills English qualification.
Learners will also need to provide 2 references and complete a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
