Study at Calderdale
Calderdale College is the largest provider of further education (post-16) courses and work-based learning (Apprenticeships) and the sole provider of higher education awards in Calderdale, a Metropolitan borough in West Yorkshire.
We offer a wide range of full and part time courses in addition to work-based learning opportunities. Our history, tradition and expertise is in serving the needs of the local area. We do so by providing learning that helps students move into a career, progress in their existing career or completely change direction! Many students have used qualifications gained at the College as a springboard to successful careers.
Our current students chose to study with us because they were attracted by the range of subjects that we offer, the different and supportive learning environment and the vocational nature of our courses. Higher award students also like the fact that they can study for a qualification locally.
How much you engage in the non-study aspects of College life is entirely your choice but for those that do, we offer an enrichment programme for our full time students that cannot be matched locally and an active Student Union. Furthermore we have an exciting arts programme with regular performances by our performing arts and dance academy students.
Our main campus on Francis Street has new £7million sport, dance and learning facilities (The Inspire Centre).
