Calderdale College is the largest provider of further education post-16 courses and work-based learning via Apprenticeships and is the sole provider of higher education courses in the region.

Calderdale College has dedicated tutors, bespoke facilities and great local partnerships. We are based on Francis Street, Halifax but we also deliver motor vehicle, welding, manufacturing and engineering courses at our Engineering Centre in Brighouse and Motivate Centre in Halifax.
Local Partnerships
We have four educational sport partners; Halifax RLFC, Huddersfield Town FC, FC Halifax Town and Bradford Dragons Basketball Club. These partners provide us with coaching and facilities for our Sport Academy students.
Engaging with Employers
Rise at Calderdale College, the College’s employer services and business arm, works with over 500 companies across the region. Through our projects, we have supported over 3,000 employers and engaged with over 90,000 employed individuals.
Fantastic Facilities
Our Motivate Centre is the central hub for Motor Vehicle students giving the opportunity to work on real cars, while our Brickwork Workshop gives students the ability to work on real projects.
Our £8m Inspire Centre is home to a multi-use sports hall, 3G pitch, rock climbing wall fitness suite, full sized grass pitch and Dance Studio.
For our Catering & Hospitality students, Cuisine 1893 is the perfect place to learn new techniques and work with professional kitchen equipment.
The £1.7 million DigiHub, Creative & Media Studios features Mac Suites, a Green Screen Room, Photography Studio, Cinema & Exhibition Room, Computer Lab and a Recording Studio.
The Engineering Centre based in Brighouse is home to our Engineering and Manufacturing courses with industry-standard equipment so students can learn in the best working environment.
