We offer a wide range of full and part-time courses in addition to work-based learning opportunities. Our history, tradition and expertise is in serving the needs of the local area. We do so by providing learning that helps students move into a career, progress in their existing career or completely change direction!
Our current students chose to study with us because of the range of subjects that we offer, the fun and supportive learning environment and the vocational nature of our courses. Higher award students also like the fact that they can study for a qualification locally.
Calderdale College has many state-of-the-art facilities, including the new £1.7m DigiHub. The Creative & Media Studios feature Mac Suites, a Green Screen Room, Photography Studio, Cinema & Exhibition Room, Computer Lab and a Recording Studio.

Our Full Works Salon is for students and run by students and is available to students who would like to enjoy discounted hair and beauty treatments.
Calderdale is home to a wide variety of characterful small towns and villages such as Halifax, Sowerby Bridge, Todmorden and Hebden Bridge. Calderdale College is situated just a stone’s throw away from Halifax Town Centre which is a main commercial and cultural area with numerous high street chain stores, markets, a central library and a public transport hub.

Calderdale College’s Inspire Centre offers state of the art sports facilities to students, staff and the local community.
Our wide range of facilities include a fully equipped Fitness Suite with an extensive range of Technogym cardiovascular and resistance machines along with a brand new free weights area.
Facilities also include: A 3G synthetic Football pitch, full size grass pitch available for both Football and Rugby, a sprung floor dance studio, double sports hall with markings for 2 Netball courts, 5 a side Football, Basketball, Handball, Futsal and much more.
