The Engineering Centre

The Engineering sector currently has a massive skills shortage and needs to employ approximately 186,000 skilled workers each year to catch up!

We’re on a mission to play our part by helping to fill that shortage from our region with specialist study programmes and apprenticeships.

Our industry-standard training centre reflects the type of facilities you would find in electrical, engineering and motor vehicle workplaces.

Our Facilities

Our industry-standard centre perfectly reflects the type of facilities you will find in a workplace, including:

i4.0 Hub

Housed at The Engineering Centre, the i4.0 Hub boasts high-tech facilities giving students access to advanced manufacturing, augmented reality and robotics.

The new innovative space transforms the way apprentices and students train, digitalising their learning and giving them the most up-to-date knowledge and skills needs for the sector.
