Course Overview

This Entry Level 3 vocational qualification introduces individuals to the knowledge, understanding and practical skills required to gain employment or further study in the automotive maintenance and accident repair industry. This qualification was developed with input from employers, professional bodies and training providers to ensure the range of subjects and topics are suitable for the automotive sector. The course has been designed to provide flexibility in producing programmes to suit an Award, Certificate or Diploma sized qualification covering a range of automotive industry sectors, including Accident repair and Light and heavy vehicle industry’s.

It will provide them with the opportunity to develop their knowledge at the level suiting their ability at entry. This qualifications have been designed to be practical, engaging and motivating to support learners in gaining the basic knowledge and skills required by automotive maintenance and accident repair sector employers.

Entry Requirements & Interview Process

Pass at Grade 1 / 2 in Math’s and English at GCSE

Progression

Once learners have achieved a qualification they can progress to further study in automotive maintenance, accident repair and engineering subjects or to a job role in automotive industry as a trainee technician.

Assessment Methods

Students on this course will be assessed via practicals and online assessments.
