Course Overview

This practical and engaging Paediatric First Aid Awareness course is designed for parents, carers, babysitters, and anyone caring for babies and children.

Participants will gain essential knowledge and confidence to respond to common paediatric emergencies, including CPR, choking, burns, bleeding, seizures, and everyday childhood injuries. This is a non-accredited awareness course and does not replace regulated paediatric first aid qualifications required for professional childcare settings. Participants will receive a certificate of attendance upon completion.

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Conduct a paediatric primary survey
  • Place a child or infant into the recovery position
  • Perform basic child and infant CPR
  •  Respond to choking emergencies
  • Manage common childhood illnesses and injuries
  • Recognise when emergency medical help is required

This course is aimed at:

Parents, carers, babysitters, and anyone caring for babies and children.
