Halifax Rail Station is a 5 minute walk from the town centre and so is the Bus Station.
Various trains run through Calderdale, with stations at Brighouse, Halifax, Sowerby Bridge, Mytholmroyd and Hebden Bridge.
Trains run hourly from Blackpool North to York via Hebden Bridge and Halifax, and from Leeds via Bradford and Halifax to Manchester Victoria every 30 minutes.
A direct Grand Central train runs from London to Halifax and Brighouse 3 times a day.

If you are travelling by car Calderdale has various car parks and street parking at various rates. Calderdale College offers students and visitors over 200 free car parking spaces in their designated car parks with many disabled spaces available.
