Calderdale College is celebrating another year of outstanding Level 3 and T Level success, with record numbers of students achieving Level 3 qualifications for the third year in a row.
Many courses have recorded 100 per cent pass rates. Among the standout results, Sport and Public Services both achieved 100 per cent, 11 per cent above the national average.
This year marks the first cohort at the College’s Creative Industries campus, Mill Studios, at Dean Clough. The facilities have produced fantastic results with a 100% pass rate across courses including Esports, Games Design and T Level Media, Broadcast and Production.
Building on its success, the College is expanding its offer at Mill Studios, doubling its footprint by welcoming Art & Design courses to the bespoke creative facility.
Among those receiving results at the celebration event was Alfie, a Games Design student who achieved two distinction stars.
Speaking about his experience at college, he said: “This course has been fantastic. The tutors have been very helpful and supportive, and it’s a great way of getting into such a competitive industry.”
Reflecting on this year’s results, David Malone, Principal and Chief Executive of Calderdale College, added: “These strong results are a testament to the hard work, ambition and resilience of our students, as well as the dedication of our staff and employer partners.
“As a college, we are committed to providing an education that extends beyond the classroom. Through meaningful employer engagement, industry placements and real-world projects, our students develop the skills and confidence needed to thrive in today’s workforce.
“Working closely with local businesses, our curriculum reflects the needs of employers while creating exciting opportunities for our students. Together, we are helping to build a highly skilled and talented pipeline that supports both individual success and regional economic growth.”
