Following the statement released earlier in the week regarding the Halifax Panthers’ RFL membership withdrawal, we would like to reassure our current and prospective students and their parents, as well as our wider community, that our Rugby Academy will continue in its entirety. All fixtures will be fulfilled, and our training programmes will carry on alongside students’ academic studies as planned.
While there may be developments to our rugby model from September, this will continue to provide an elite performance pathway for our student athletes. Rugby development at the College remains a key priority, and our commitment to supporting talented players both on and off the field is unchanged.
We extend our support and compassion to everyone connected with the Halifax Panthers at this difficult time and share the club’s hope for a positive and sustainable outcome for the future of rugby in Halifax.
