The Administration Assistant Level 2 Apprenticeship is an ideal entry point for individuals looking to start or develop a career in business administration. This apprenticeship is designed for those working in office environments across a wide range of sectors, providing the essential administrative, organisational, and communication skills needed to support the effective day-to-day running of a business. As an Administration Assistant, you’ll gain valuable hands-on experience while working towards a nationally recognised qualification. You’ll work alongside experienced colleagues, developing the skills, knowledge, and behaviours needed to provide efficient administrative support and deliver excellent customer service within a professional workplace.
You will learn to:
• Provide administrative support using a range of office systems and digital technologies
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, customers, and external stakeholders
• Organise meetings, appointments, and business documentation accurately and efficiently
• Maintain records, process information, and handle confidential data in line with organisational procedures
• Understand business processes, professional standards, and workplace legislation
• Deliver excellent customer service while supporting the smooth operation of the organisation
Modules/Highlights:
To enrol, you must be aged 16 – 24 years old and employed in a relevant role with an employer who will support your learning and development throughout the programme. Apprenticeships are work-based qualifications, so securing a job in the sector is essential before you can begin your training. If you are not currently employed, you can explore our latest apprenticeship vacancies. We also encourage you to proactively contact local employers to ask if they would consider taking you on as an apprentice. Alternatively, if you do not yet have an employer, you can apply for a full-time course as a starting point. Should you secure employment during your course, you can be transferred onto the apprenticeship pathway.
