Course Overview

This Level 3 qualification is designed for individuals who are passionate about driving positive environmental change and want to play an active role in promoting sustainability within their workplace. Whether you’re already in a role or preparing for employment, this course equips you with the knowledge and skills to become a sustainability champion across the sector.

Individuals will gain a deep understanding of key environmental issues and legislation, explore how businesses can reduce their environmental impact and develop the confidence to lead sustainable initiatives and influence colleagues. The qualification supports both personal development and organisational goals, making it ideal for employees, team leaders and sustainability advocates. Delivered flexibly, this knowledge-based course is suitable for learners from a wide range of industries and can be a valuable step towards a greener, more responsible future of work.

Throughout this course you will cover a variety of modules, including:

Entry Requirements & Interview Process

There are no specific prior skills/knowledge a learner must have for this qualification. However, learners may find it helpful if they have already achieved a level 2 qualification.

Applicants will be invited in for an interview with a course tutor.

Progression

After completing this course, students can progress onto further qualifications in environmental science and sustainability.

Assessment Methods

This qualification is internally assessed and externally quality assured.

Course Fees

This course is fully funded for individuals who either:

  • Don’t already hold a level 3 qualification
  • Hold a level 3 qualification but are unemployed
  • Hold a level 3 qualification, are employed but earn less than £26,800 per annum

Participants must be 19 years old or older as of 31 August 2026.

Participants must reside in West Yorkshire.
