Course Overview

An introduction to Psychology Criminology and Law, involving 4 different short courses. Achieving a qualification in psychology, criminology, law and progressive learning. The course gives an over view of key psychological research as well as developing knowledge of theories of crime and the criminal justice system. An all course work based qualification.

Modules:

– Understand some key concepts in psychology (including developmental psychology) – Understand some debates and studies relating to key concepts in psychology, such as nature vs nurture. – Explore different aspects of Crime – Look at how Society can contribute to crime rates and how we can use policy to try and reduce Crime – Offer 4 different Subject Areas in One course – Work with students across college to gather evidence
