Course Overview

This course introduces participants to the fundamentals of Microsoft Excel, equipping them with the skills to confidently navigate spreadsheets, create formulas and present data effectively. Delegates will learn how to enter and format data, use simple formulas, manage worksheets and create basic charts. The course is ideal for beginners who want a solid foundation in Excel for everyday business use.

Content
• Introduction to spreadsheets and the Excel interface
• Creating, saving, opening, and closing workbooks
• Entering, editing, and managing worksheet data
• Using AutoFill, custom lists, and clipboard tools
• Creating and editing formulas (including AutoSum and statistical functions)
• Understanding relative and absolute references
• Formatting cells, rows and columns to improve appearance
• Printing worksheets, page setup and headers/footers
• Creating and formatting basic charts

Aimed at
Individuals that are new to Excel, or those with limited experience who want to build confidence
in spreadsheet use.

Entry Requirements & Interview Process

Eligibility
Basic understanding of the Windows environment or completion of a Windows Introduction
course.
