Course Overview

This is a top up course that requires you to have completed a level 2 Diploma in Plumbing.

You will need to be working in the industry fitting bathrooms and also radiators and pipework to heating systems (we can advise you of the details before you commence this course to make sure you are able to meet the assessment criteria)

The course is completed in the workplace, to pass the course you must be able to demonstrate your plumbing competency by completing a portfolio of evidence of the work you are carrying out.

You can build your portfolio at your own pace, providing you are covering the work required, and can expect to comfortable complete within 6-12months.

Entry Requirements & Interview Process

You need to have competed the level 2 Diploma in Plumbing.

All applicants will be invited for an interview with a Training Officer and you will be asked to provide copies of your Level 2 6035 Diploma.

We also need to check that you do the range of work needed to complete your onsite evidence.

Assessment Methods

You will be provided with a portfolio and when you are ready, you then make contact with your Assessor to arrange your work-based assessments. You will also provide written accounts with supporting evidence such as photos, site drawings, witness statements.

You will also be required to attend college to sit one multiple-choice exam.
