T Level – Craft & Design

Entry Requirements:
5 GCSE passes Grade 4 or above, including English, Math's and science, or a pass in a Media or IT qualifications. 

Course Info

During this 2-year programme, students will develop the core knowledge and skills that are needed for entry to a range of occupations in the art & design sector.

You will study:

  • The creative industry
  • Creating your individual voice and style
  • Cultural context
  • Creative professional standards
  • Research skills
  • Project research, building and design

Due to the Department for Education making the decision to postpone the start date of this T Level, it will now run from September 2024. If you have already applied, do not worry as you will be contacted by our Admissions Team or your tutor and offered a place on an alternative course within this subject area.

Teaching

Project based learning is used as the model for teaching, learning and assessment. You’ll spend 80% of your time in the classroom or workshop and 20% on a 45-day placement with an employer to give you the skills and knowledge companies look for.
