Introduction to the Digital Apprenticeship Service (DAS)

Get the most out of your apprenticeships

Learn how to successfully use the government’s Digital Apprenticeship Service (DAS) with our free Introduction to DAS training.

All employers of apprentices are required to register with the service.

The training will take employers through a simple step-by-step journey to help them get the most out of the Apprenticeship Service. Our industry expert will guide you through the following topics during the session:

  • What is the Digital Apprenticeship Service?
  • Registering for the service
  • Reserving apprenticeship funding
  • Adding an apprentice
  • Managing apprentice and cohort data
  • Adding and administering training provider permissions

Participants will also learn how to use other functions within the service such as:

  • Advertising for an apprentice
  • Sourcing a training provider
  • Applying for apprenticeship funding through a levy transfer

Our training simplifies the process, addresses any queries and helps employers confidently navigate the system to take full advantage of what it can offer, including access to new apprenticeship standards, training providers and funding.

The training is part of the Collaborative Apprenticeships project and is funded by the European Social Fund (ESF). The project is managed by the West Yorkshire Consortium of Colleges (WYCC) and Calderdale College is supporting the delivery.
