Counselling
Calderdale College provides free and confidential counselling for all students. Our counsellors are here to listen and provide support for a range of life issues including academic stress, relationship and family issues, personal challenges and bereavement.
The service offers short term support (6 sessions) either through face-to-face and telephone sessions.
Counselling can support you through difficult experiences helping to deal with these more effectively, by exploring the experience, how this is affecting your thoughts, feelings and emotions and how to make changes and develop new strategies to help you cope better.
Students can self-refer by following this link, clicking the button below or through the counselling referral form on Moodle.
If you feel you would like more information about counselling or have any questions, please email the Counselling Team on Counselling@calderdale.ac.uk or send a message on Teams to Stephanie Twibill.
The counselling service is located in the Percival Whitley building on B Floor, in Student Services.
