What is a Degree Apprenticeship?

A degree apprenticeship combines practical on the job training and theoretical study towards a degree. During a degree apprenticeship, apprentices will work full-time, earning a salary and will gain a higher education qualification that is valuable for both the employer and apprentice.

For employers, degree apprenticeships allow new recruits or existing employees to gain a degree level qualification whilst still working full-time at your company. These apprenticeships ensure students are gaining the knowledge and experience that employers require in the industry.

Degree apprenticeships may also open up new areas of a business to employees. They may want / need to move departments and a degree apprenticeship would be a great way of keeping them in the company whilst training for a new role.
