The Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship (Level 6)
Are your talented managers ready to take the next step in their professional development?
The Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship is an innovative 18-month programme designed for managers already qualified at Level 5, who seek to develop their leadership skills further.
This course will challenge and encourage managers to ask questions of themselves and their role, and to deepen their understanding of business, ethical leadership and management
By taking part, participants will benefit from:
- Teaching from industry experts at the Calderdale College’s University Centre
- A degree qualification – the BA (Hons) Business Management and Professional Development
- The opportunity to gain Chartered Manager status
- Undertaking modules examining Work-based Development; Strategic and Responsible Leadership; Management, Work and Society
- The opportunity to undertake a practical, work-based project
- Mentor support from like-minded people to develop skills, knowledge and understanding
- The opportunity to gain a critical understanding of the complex, volatile and uncertain business environment
At the end of the 18-month course, leaders will emerge from the programme with a developed sense of their purpose and position as a manager. Successful participants will gain critical and reflexive self-awareness and the skills to lead and manage ethically, and be in a prime position to shape the regional business landscape of the future.
