Which course level should I study?

At Calderdale College we offer a range of vocational Further Education qualifications for students aged 16-18. We offer VRQs, Apprenticeships, A Levels, T Levels and BTECs. If you are unsure on which qualification is right for you visit our Further Education Qualifications Explained or Higher Education Qualifications Explained pages. Alternatively, get in touch on 01422 357 357 or email [email protected].

T Levels

As of 2021, we are delivering T Levels in Business, Childcare & Early Years, Digital and Health & Social Care. T Levels are a brand new qualification that allow students to study both inside and outside the classroom – think of it as a mixture between an Apprenticeship and a BTEC! Learn more about T Levels here.

Students will spend 80% of their time in a classroom and 20% on a work placement. A T Level qualification is equivalent to 3 A Levels. This combined learning offer will place you in the best position for progression onto Higher Education and your future career.
